LOCATION: Platform Co-Working & Events, 120 Connaught Road West, Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong
THE INSTRUCTOR’S PERSONAL TIME WITH YOUR CHILD
Part of Sonia’s uniqueness is working directly with children durng the course. We encourage parents or carers to schedule 25-40 minutes with Sonia, where she personally assesses and works with your child. Parents or carers are by the child’s side and the participants observe from a distance. These demonstrations are invaluable for the child, the parent/carer and the participants of the class. There are only four spaces available for this individual instruction, taking place from Wednesday to Friday afternoons. If you have or know of a child that would benefit from one-to-one time with Sonia, please contact Hersha (Local Program Coordinator). We will require you to fill out a questionnaire to submit in advance of the Program.

The teacher training experience can be a time of deep emotional connection for some people. Though this process is healing, it can also be stressful. If you have any history of mental illness i.e. depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder or any form of psychosis, it would be very helpful for your teacher to know in order to be sensitive to your needs.
